Department of Mathematical Sciences was established to provide strong Mathematical back ground along with physics, statistics, and electronics to graduates and to cope up with the needs. It was started with a very modest beginning having only a handful of courses.  Also the faculty were actively involved and published/ presented quality papers/book chapters in reputed journals. Also the Department organised good number of workshops/seminars/ guest lectures/certificate courses related to technical and social issues.

Department of Mathematical Sciences thus emphasis on overall development of students for that we provide various daily activities and some weekly activities and number of intercollegiate competitions with their regular curriculum.
